Name: The Operator/Nidus (as the character is a malleable protag of sorts, and Nidus is the Warframe). The Operator will go by her own chosen name- Ailith.
Canon: Warframe
Canon Point: Post-The War Within and The Glast Gambit
Age: The Operator looks possibly 15-16. It's unknown how old they actually are, as they've been in cryosleep for centuries. Nidus is ?????????
A NOTE ABOUT THIS APPLICATION:
While Warframe itself is not a mature-rated game, Nidus is the representation of infestation, pox, and the plague. He is essentially a walking version of a disease. If you are uncomfortable with tentacles, gross Lovecraftian sounds and sights, or festering infestation, it is suggested you do not read this application.
History: A few things to link, as we're still only discovering the past of the Warframe history and lore as the game goes along.
Story and History (thus far)
The War Within
The Glast Gambit
The last two events are linked because they feature a new option within Warframe: player choices. This helps to flesh out the Tenno more according to how players decide certain outcomes. Ailith lies mostly in the Sun segment of choices (as there are three- Sun, Neutral, and Moon - her choices will be explained in her personality). Sun is referred to as the "light" version of choices, though as to what point these choices actually have, we don't know as of yet.
Personality: Tell us what makes your character your character. There is no particular length required, but be specific and describe who they are using canon examples to support their behavior. If your character is an AU or CRAU then describe how they are different from their OU self. This is one of the most important sections.
Setting: It will be hard, at first, for Ailith to adapt. For a Tenno who has her own ship and is usually always on the go, being stuck in one place will frustrate her incredibly. She has places to go, people to help, and things to do- so when she's told she can't leave
Abilities/Skills:
NIDUS: Resembling an endless plague, Nidus is unique even among other Warframes in the game. While most Warframes rely on energy to use their powers, Nidus relies on what is called "Adaptive Mutation," a resource only he can access. This is often referred to as "stacks," and provides him with a different approach to combat with his enemies. He is also the second Warframe with no shields, but the first ever to have his own built-in health regen.
Virulence - Nidus spawns a line of infested ground from wherever he slams his foot, building mutation stacks and adding to his own power. Each enemy hit adds a section to his mutation pool, and the more stacks he has, the more damage he does.
Larva - Nidus throws an infested larva towards a specific location, regardless of where he is on the map. The larva mutates into a large floating mass of tentacles and tendrils, spreading out and grabbing enemies before pulling them back in to the writhing mass. Larva incapacitates and ragdolls enemies so Nidus (and his teammates) can damage/destroy them (or in Nidus' case, build more stacks).

Aren't there like, planets to save? Colonies to rescue? Someone in distress somewhere?? [There's a groan and another sigh.] Please tell me there's something else to do here.
[Muttered under his breath:] I don't even know how Darvo manages this "standing around and doing nothing" thing.
